Pardis Ghahramani will present in the 52nd Central Canadian Symposium on Water Quality Research

Pardis Ghahramani, who is currently co-supervised by Prof. Leung in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. ElDyasti in the Department of Civil Engineering, will present in the 52nd Central Canadian Symposium on Water Quality Research. Her work focuses on the design and fabrication of open porous polymer beads or structures for biological treatment process of wastewater. The open porous polymer beads will provide a platform that enhances the generation and attachment of biofilm, which can assist in the break-down of organic pollutants.
