Yichun Zhang, currently a 3rd year student in the College of Polymer Science and Engineering, Sichuan University in China, will join M3 Lab as a Mitacs Summer Research Internship student. The scope of his research will focus on the development of multifunctional polymer material system for energy harvesting applications.

Congratulation to Maryam Fashandi of winning the Excellence Award for Graduate Research as a Master’s student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her thesis research focuses on the fabrication and characterization of 100% bio-based phase change material microcapsules for thermal energy storage and thermal management applications.
