Hwi Won (Esther) Jang
Esther is a University of Toronto student, going into her 2nd year. She is pursuing BASc in Engineering Science and planning to specialize in Bio-medical Systems Engineering.

Gianluca Roberts
Gianluca attends the University of Toronto and is currently enrolled in his 3rd year of Engineering Science specializing in Electrical & Computer Engineering. This summer, Gianluca is focusing on the design and implementation of a Thermal Conductivity Analyser and a High Pressure / High Temperature Foaming Chamber. In combination, these will be used to tailor the thermal properties of polymer-composite materials. In addition, he is designing a Lab-Scale Thermoforming Device used to test the feasibility of alternate polymer-composite materials for food containers in an effort to eliminate the potential adverse health effects of currently used materials.

Anton Sitkovets
Anton is currently an Electrical Engineering student at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University. His current research focuses on the exfoliation and use of hexagonal boron nitride in multifunctional materials.

Shailin Gosalia
Shailin is a graduate from the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Toronto with a minor in bioengineering. He plans to pursue further education to apply his background in engineering to the field of healthcare.
